Koen woke up the next morning with his eyes still closed and without moving. Sadly enough to say, staring at the inside of his eyelids was a much better sight than peering into the now Elvin-less world. Against his will, his eyes opened slowly after a minute or two. He looked at the ceiling, dreading every moment he knew he had to endure in the near future. He did not want to live through them. In fact, he was pretty sure he didn't want to be alive at all. Koen remembered hoping, as he fell asleep, that it was all just a dream. The oddest part of the whole situation, however
